Foster Hope Sports Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation that provides children in foster care and under-resourced communities opportunities to participate in sports and esports.
At Foster Hope Sports we believe every child deserves love, hope, and joy.
Our mission is to make an impact in the lives of children in foster care and under-resourced communities by inspiring them to achieve their fullest potential, develop their unique skills, and bring joy into their lives through sports. Foster Hope Sports creates opportunities for children to participate in sports and esports throughout their youth and beyond.
We empower youth by helping them succeed by giving them the resources needed to reach their fullest potential.
Sports help children develop skills such as teamwork, leadership, perseverance, and confidence that will help them succeed in life. We believe we are building the next generation of leaders when we invest in youth within our communities by helping them develop the skills to positively impact the world!
Our resources from the foundation go to help:
- connect youth with opportunities to play in a sports or esports leagues
- get equipment necessary to play
- provide academic assistance to help youth succeed
- create scholarships opportunities for youth to participate in sports and esports
- provide assistance throughout the college sports and esports recruiting process
Our Story
Foster Family Experience
After a grueling 3-year process our family waited among a crowd of potential parents to hear our name called to officially adopt my brother. The moment the judge walked over to congratulate our family, I was full of excitement and relief that we did not have to say goodbye anymore. At this time, my parents had been foster parents over the years for four infants prior to my brother. Today my brother is fifteen years old and such a blessing!
Compassion Molded My Passion
My compassion for others increased when I saw the challenges each child faced in their first few years of life. As my compassion molded my passion, my mission to spread love and hope to children in the foster care system and under-resourced communities developed.
Growth Through Sports & Esports
Through sports, children can gain fundamental skills that will help them succeed in life. As a former NCAA college softball athlete, I gained lessons and skills that have made me the woman I am today.
Legal Knowledge To Make a Difference
As a lawyer, I use the skills I learned in sports such as leadership, self-disciple, confidence, determination, and teamwork. I hope to use my experiences growing up in a family touched by adoption and the influence sports have in my life to impact children involved in the foster care system.

I formed the 501(c)(3) foundation with the mission to empower children to reach their fullest potential by spreading love and hope through sports and esports.

CEO & Founder
Foster Hope Sports Foundation
Sydney is a graduate of the University of South Florida and Vanderbilt University Law School. During her first two years of undergrad, she played DII college softball at Lindenwood University. She currently works for KMM Sports, a sports agency for professional athletes, and is an adjunct professor at the Sports Health Institute.
